* Back to the gym. First day of activities and my arms burn like hell. I keep saying that it's a good feeling, but when you can't lift a juice glass without moaning, it takes a lot of arguments to do the trick. But then I just need to look in the mirror to stop whining.

* Please check the short film Tyger, based upon the Blake poem. Made for the Cultura Ingleza (a branch of British Council Brazil) Film Festival, it's a brilliant live animation film directed by Gilherme Marcondes that uses the chaotic landscape of São Paulo as the scenario. * One of the jobs I did for FIFA was a series of interviews with players and coaches that won the World Cup. Today I saw the piece I did with Carlos Alberto Parreira in Teresópolis, part of a Pre-World Cup special aired by Sportv, the leading sports channel in Brazil. It's hard not to smile seeing the interview and remembering the recording.

* Talking about World Cup, it seems that this scribe is really going to Germany 2006 after all. Munich from June 2 to 12, with the opening match opposing Germany and Costa Rica in the schedule. Prosit!




* Primeiro dia de volta à academia e os braços doem tanto que quase nãoconsigo levantar o copo de suco. Mas basta uma olhada - de perfil - no espelho pra parar de reclamar.

* Descobri um sensacional curta-metragem de animação. Dirigido por Guilherme Marcondes e produção da Tratoria, é uma homenagem/releitura/inspirado por William Blake e seu poema Tyger (Um dos favoritos de Herr Schüler, diga-se de passagem). * Um dos trabalhos que fiz para a FIFA incluía uma série de entrevistas com jogadores e técnicos que conquistaram a Copa do Mundo a partir de 1974, quando foi instituído o novo troféu. Pois uma destas matérias, a entrevista com Parreira,passou hoje na Sportv, dentro do programa pré-copa que relembrava a edição de 1994. Puta orgulho de ver as respostas do simpático Parreira e relembrar as gravações.

Ainda tem pela frente a série de entrevistas com Roberto Carlos, Cafu, Zagallo e o maissimpático de todos: O melhor do mundo Ronadinho Gaúcho.
